Hey I've been a silent reader for a couple of months and said id help out others when my process was over. Step parents petitioning child under 21 and also petitioning wife.
Timeline:
PD: 2/26/19
Bio: 3/30/19
Ready to schedule: 5/14/19
Interview scheduled: 7/15/19
Interview day: 8/19/19
Interview lasted about 45 mins questions on form about criminal history etc followed by questions about family and life. At the end given a white paper that said held for review. Went home feeling uneasy.
Interview completed and must be reviewed: 8/19/19
New card being produced: 8/20/19
We mailed your card: 8/23/19
Card in hand 8/28/19
Used a lawyer in and had faith in God. This form helped me through this process hopefully I help others. As long as you answer the questions correctly and genuinely you should be fine.
