Hello everyone. Thanks for sharing your timeline and experiences. This forum has helped me immensely throughout my process, and I would love to share my journey with you. Here’s my timeline.
I’m an Ohio filer. Marriage based. Was on F-1. Filled concurrently I-130, I-485 & I-765.
Got married in August 2018
Sent paperwork to USCIS on April 10th, 2019
On April 16, 2019, received a text that USCIS had received my documents.
On April 21, I received 4 received receipt notices and was provided PD (April 16th, 2019)
Received biometrics letter on April 30th, 2019
Completed biometrics on May 14th, 2019
Received courtesy letter for I-693 on June 15th.
Received Interview letter on July 21, 2019
Completed Interview on August 26, 2019.
(About the interview) - Interview was set for 8:45am in Cleveland. I was late, so I had to wait until an IO had a break. They called me in around 10:30am and swore us in. Interview took about 15 mins. They mainly went over information from the paperwork I sent in. Here are the questions they asked me: Whats your full name? When did you get married? When did you guys move in? Here are some questions they asked my wife: What’s your husbands parents name? Do you have any pics of the wedding?
After interview, I received a white paper stating that my interview will need further interview.
On August 28th, checked status on USCIS portal and it stated my new card was being produced. Don’t think I will get my combo card.
