Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello everyone I want someone with a similar experience to advise me on this. So I moved on the 30th of July and changed my address online and noticed that I did not get the mail. I called and did it with them over the phone. Now my interview was on Tuesday and I got an update on Monday that my address was changed. The officer also wrote down my new address on the form. Now green card is shipped and called them today and she stated that the change can take 14 days to take effect in the system. I do not receive inform delivery here at the new house. I think this is so annoying because this is very important. The person at my old address is on vacation and they cannot check for me. Any advices? Yes me or my husband can go to the old apartment but just wanted to see if anyone thinks of the address was changed
