Hi,
I filed 01/07 marriage based NBC from NYC and I'm beyond despair. This whole process has been so frustrating and my patience is over. I regret starting all this, it only got me depressed and I lost so much money and time
First update for EAD and AP: August 21nd: case approved
Received notice letter AND SSN card on August 26, I was so happy, been waiting for aaaages for an update...
my lawyer said EAD card should be here in a couple of days so I booked a ticket home bc I haven't seen my family and friends for so long... it was the best day ever... until...
as of today still no update on USCIS website, case still on approved not on card sent after 12 days... so I'm stressing out bc I booked those tickets for 09/10 but every day I fear more I won't be able to go after all...
I read here people get their case approved and their card in the mail within a week so I'm panicking, why not me? It's already frustrating enough people that filed in February or March (though good for them) have already an interview scheduled and I'm still waiting for an interview date (ready to be scheduled for interview since 06/030)
USCIS is just full of **** and what they do to us is pure torture and there is no logic in their system at all
anyone there in the same situation?
