Waiting for RFE after interview in Fairfax
Hi everyone!!
I had my I-485 interview marriage based last 8/27 and the officer was very strict. She asked a lot of questions. I have been arrested for not going to court for a traffic offense and she wanted to see the original court papers that my case is closed. I only had photocopies so she said she will have to send an rfe in the mail.
She also told me that I forgot to reply to an email from the NVC concerning my adjustment of status and that she would have to request that paperwork to be brought to her office.
Does anyone know how long it will take to receive the rfe letter?
I called USCIS today and they said that they haven’t send any letter.
Please help
When I check online it went from : “ Interview was completed and case must be reviewed” to
“Case was updated to show all fingerprints were taken and case is in process”
