Please help (officer made changes in application during interview which is wrong)
My wife (US green card) and I had I485 interview last week. The interview went well and officer said I will approve your case and you will receive the green card in 4-6 weeks.
Today we received a letter from USCIS asking to submit Proof of my wife's Citizenship, otherwise case will be denied.
After seeing this letter now I remember the incident during interview. The office told us you made a mistake in the application form "Spouse is a immidiate relative not other relative. I am correcting it. We said ok, sorry for the mistake". We did not realized that time that she was making a mistake even though my wife showed her green card to the officer. Noe looking at the I485 application (questin Part 2, 1a family base) the options are 1) immediate relative of US citize 2) other relative of US citizer or relative of permanent resident. Now I see she changed it from option 2 (what we had) to 1.

I also signed the i485 form saying everything including the corrections are corret. The officer just told me to sign and I did. I was really nervous and did this stupid mistake.

Please suggest me what I should do. The field office does not take any in person appointment. I am totally lost and getting really nervous. How can I proof this is not my fault?
