10yr greencard in hand after almost 3yrs
This forum helped so i might as well give some info. I started the process from NJ
PD 10/4/16
1st EAD 12/13/16(Got lost in the mail)
Received Replacement 3/06/17 which was valid till December 2017.
Ist Interview at Newark(08/08/17) which went terrible. We were separated and since some of our answers didnt match, we had a stoke interview on that same day(crazy right). We were interviewed at least an hour each asking all the questions you can think of.
A month later i got a job in NYC so we relocated to NY and did a change of address
Got my 3rd EAD card on 3/28/18, meanwhile there was no update on my case so i said screw them and i decided living my life lol.
December 2018 i applied for my fourth EAD card.
March 2019 i made an infopass on my case
I received a call in notice for an interview on May 9 2019
This time i prepared well with a lawyer
On the interview date the officer was really nice . Asked all the questions which we answered. He didnt make a decision and asked that we bring the original copy of my spouse birth certificate(we had to rush to NJ to go get it and return that same day). Officer also said someone tempered with my medical so he will send an RFE.
august 6 my fourth ead got approved and sent to me
August 30th new card been produced this time on my 1-485
Received my 10yr green card September 9th
