I just wanted to share experience since this site has really helped me.
PD - 04/08
Biometrics - 05/02
Long wait
Raised an expedite request on 8/21 (Lawyer didn't agree since according to him job offer is not a valid reason. I understand that from USCIS perspective but for me and my family it was very important since we would have lost all savings if I hadn't receive my EAD in time)
8/25 - USCIS requested for Offer letter and provided them the details. No other details were requested.
Called Tier 2 officer 6 times during this time and raised SRs for whether document was delivered to USCIS successfully since I saw many cases had that issue.
9/11 - New card is being produced.
My suggestion for everyone is to hang in there and be hopeful. Please don't wait for lawyers or anyone else and expedite it even if you only have job offer in hand.
