I found this forum so helpful and I decided to write my story too and I hope that it helps some of you guys. I applied for i485 (marriage based) on 11/30/18 and for i765 on 1/11/19. After my biometric appointment (on December), USCIS send me an RFE on January. I responded to it within a month due to a issue and on 4/3/19 my case was ready for scheduling an interview. After waiting too long and raising 2 SR, finally a few days ago they approved my i765 and guess what...? Today I saw at my account that they scheduled an interview for my i485!!!! I am so happy!!! Now I have to take my medical exams and be prepared for my interview!
I didn't hire any lawyer, my husband and I did all the paperwork. Don't lose your hope and don't rely on USCIS processing time too much because based on that the current date for my city is 9/5/17! If you have any advice for the interview, I would appreciate it!
