Greencard approval! Houston filer
My pd 8/30/2018 , Houston, Tx. I already had work permit and ssn back on February, 2019. Case was scheduled for the interview on August 12, 2019, and the interview date was on September 16, 2019 So we had interview for form I-485, I 130 on September 16, 2019 at 8:30 am. My husband, I and my two little ones( 3 years old son and 8 and a half months old daughter) arrived 30 minutes earlier, but the interviewer didn't call us in until 9:45 am. Our first impression of the interviewer is she is very cold, no smiles, not welcoming whatsoever. So we felt very uncomfortable and little bit nervous. She led us in her office, she requested us to raise right hands and swore to say the truth. Took my photo and fingers sprint. She started with me as beneficial first. What my husband name? His date of birth? How I met my husband?, when the last time I came back to the United states? what my parents names? She also asked yes/ no questions in the form I- 485. Do I work now? Then she asked my husband what is my full name? My Date of birth? About his previous marriage. And then she asked me gave my daughter birth certificate copy and then asked if I had anything else to submit. And the first thing I thought about was the medical exam that I didn't submit with my applications due to pregnancy. I totally forgot to have her our photos, leasing documents, bank statements cause I was afraid of her demeanor. Then my husband asked if he can speak to add more information and he talked a little bit about our non profit organization. We can see she changed her attitude couple times during my husband talking. But she still didn't smile from the beginning to the end. Found out she worked in military. At the end, she gave my two white papers said I finished my interview and my case must be reviewed. Checked the status on the same day and nothing changed until I went check again on the September 18, 2019 , saw I130 and I485 approved and card is being produced. The interesting thing is the interviewer approved my case on the same day I had my interview which was September 16, 2019. Thank you God for everything And I also thank all of you guys in this forum for sharing your experiences that helped me a lots.
