Transfer to NY FO: 3/9/19
Interview: 6/11/18
467 days since interview. Filed Out of Normal Processing inquiry on 8/15/19, received reply on 8/30/19:
"Your case is currently delayed because the required security checks are still pending. We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of these security checks."
Asian name. As you can see my timeline, I am beyond frustrated. I have written to Senator, I have spoken to Tier 2 USCIS officer. Called the FBI and spoke to someone live and got lip service of course ("You have to go through USCIS, we are not going to comment on matters regarding national security)
I understand that getting stuck with security checks is in fact quite common. I feel that I will just get stuck here forever because who is following up with whatever checks they are waiting for? Does anyone here know someone or heard cases that got unstuck from this? Please share details and how those got unstuck. It would be much appreciated.
