I - 485 approced anf Card received
I would like to share my timelinewith everyone here, I’ve been a silent reader and all you experiences helped me to go through this process.
March 17th: Case was filled at NBC.
March 20th: Case was received.
April 1st: Request to change address (We move from Rhode Island to Massachusetts).
April 17th: Biometrics appointment (Taken in Rhode Island).
April 25th: Fingerprints reviewed.
August 2nd: Courtesy letter to applicant (Form I-693 was not submitted since the medical exam / Immigration physicals are now only valid for three months, we decide to wait until the case was ready to get scheduled for an interview). We scheduled an appointment to get at OccMed Consulting and Injury Care, Boston, MA. They cost us $650 usd ($460 for the Medical exam + 190 for two vaccinations and bloodwork).
August 6th: Interview is ready to be scheduled
August 12th: Interview for your I-485 form has been scheduled on September 16th.
September 6th: Request to change address (We moved within Boston).
September 16th: Interview took place at the JFK Federal building, Boston, MA. The interview lasted around 30 minutes, the officer asked us some basic questions about how we meet, how was our weeding, our currently jobs and our pet. After answer all the questions the officer told us everything in our case look great and our case was approved. Later that the day our status changed to case has been approved.
September 17th: New card is been produced
September 19th: Card was mailed to me
September 19th: Card was picked up USPS
September 23th: Greencard was delivered
