Hey guys so I got married three weeks ago and on the marriage certificate I wrote my new name using my husbands last name. He is from Mexico and has two last names but I just decided to use his first one. Does taking your spouses last name help making the process easier? I don’t know whether to go to the SS office and change my legal name or leave it as it is
