Timeline for AOS
California filer
Early March 2019: got married to a USC
Mid April 2019: delivered all applications to USCIS
May 1st 2019: received receipts
Mid May 2019: biometrics complete and received
Mid June 2019: RFE received “it was for the sponsorship’s IRS” the needed documents were sent with all the paperwork but I had to resend them again based on their request.
Early July 2019: RFE was received by USCIS

It’s been more five months and I haven’t received a work permit or anything regarding to AOS

Should I give the USCIs a call or do an online inquiry so I can know what is going on with my case? And how long dees it take to hear back from the USCIS after they receive the RFE.
