SAN FRANCISCO FILERS - Interview
Hi guys,
San Francisco Office, marriage based experience:
PD: 23. April 2018
EAD: End of September 2018
GC Interview: 23 September 2019
Online update - "Your card is being produced": 24 September 2019 at 11:30pm
The Interview:
We were at the building entrance at 1pm, there was a small line to get in.
Upstairs, there was another small line to check in.
We were checked in around 1:25.
Had the Interview at 1:50pm, got in around 2:05.
The lady was nice, asked some questions (about our relationship) - nothing extraordinary. Example: Where did we meet, how long we dated before getting married, when we moved together, if we met each others parents, Where was the wedding, who attended, etc. As I said, nothing unusual. Then I told her where I work, described a bit my past (what visa I came in, etc.) Then she went thgough YES/NO questions on i-485.
She told me to give her as much supporting evidence as I can. I had a binder full of evidence and when I was taking it out and handing to her one by one, I was describing each of them in few words. (Example - Here is the Health insurance with both of our names on, Here is the scan of our credit cards, Here is my legal name change request for the Credit card and I showed her the card with new name, etc.). Each list of evidence, I marked mine and my spouses name with yellow marker, so she doesn't have to look for it.
I also made a Shutterfly book with pics for last 3 years of our relationship and she smiled when she saw that. She looked through the whole book, pointed at couple of people and asked who is who, etc.
List of Evidence I brought with me:
1. Request for applicant to appear for initial interview
2. Me - Passport copy, Passport

9. Me - random mail as a proof of address
10. Spouse - CA ID Copy, Passport Copy, CA ID Original, Passport Original
11. Spouse - Birth Certificate Copy + Orignal
12. Spouse - W-2 Earning Summary

To my surprise, she took all the evidence we brought and made a decision within one day.
