I-485 notification
I find this forum is useful and help me a lot. I found that not only me feel hopeless, stressful and frustrated waiting for the documents but a lot of the members are in the same boat. Sometimes I imagine the picture of myself in the famine waiting for a drop of water from the sky :)
I submitted the petition under marriage based on March 15, 2019 and have been hopelessly waiting for the EAD and SSN to buy insurance, renew my driving license and look for a job.
A week ago, I received the update for my I-485 which says “As of September 11, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice”. It has been 2 weeks but I have not received the notice. Can you share with me how long will I expect to receive to notice? Thanks in advance.
