308 days waiting and still no EAD i am losing hope and getting so anxious
So quick recap...
Nov 2018 filer from NYC, case is in NBC even though my lawyer told me that NBC is just where money goes for processing fees and that cases are handled in local offices where you live. Was reading this forum for some time and I see a lot of people getting ead quick while some like me wait for so long, btw since nov 2018 online status shows “case was received” so after 8.5 months of wait following uscis official processing times I opened SR on aug 1 2019 online which went unassigned fpr 30 days so on sept 3 I contacted on chat agent and she opened another SR thats starts with T1 and on same day i contacted Ombudsman office for assistance. My SR got responded on sep 12 saying that “my case is under review” and ombudsman office sent response that they received from uscis:
Thank you for your request for case assistance. In response to our inquiry, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) indicated that your case is under active review. However, USCIS is unable to provide a specific timeframe for resolution of the case. Our office will continue to monitor USCIS’ progress on a regular basis until there is a specific action or resolution. We will contact you as soon as we receive an update from USCIS.
I dont know what to do anymore this is so stressful and I am slowly going into depression thinking every day why this happen to me. Can someone please tell me their stories that are similar to mine and maybe some advice how to proceed.....
