Hey everybody, i have been reading this forum and i wanna thank everyone for their help.
I have filed i-485 AOS based on marriage, we have been married almost 21 months , legit marriage and finally we got our interview date 11/4/19 .
when i was filling a i-485 , the question `have you ever take any public assistance` that i answered NO but i had a health insurance from NY state in the past like a year , i dont know if it was obamacare or medicaid. I didnt know health insurance was kinda public assistance, i have never took any other help or goverment assistance. Also i called NY state health and i cancel that health insurance almost 1.5 year ago cuz i got private health insurance from my husband employer and i have a letter to prove that i dropped that goverment insurance.
So my question is that should i fixed my answer if officer ask me same question during interview or even if officer doesnt ask should i fixed it anyway or just leave it like that?
i really need your suggestions and i would be appreciate if you guys share me with your experience,thanks.
