change of address NY TO CT
hi everyone,
from New York i moved to Connecticut, i didn't change my address because it is not a change of address in the same state and the time of transferring to another state is going to delay my case. however I still go to my previous NY address to check up my mails. now when i get my interview date, i want to update my address with the officer but im afraid he is going to say oh since now you reside in CT im going to have to transfer your case to Hartford CT and delaying my approval.
has anyone went through a similar case?
i want to hide that information to the officer but if he ask for any last bill like gas or cable. my last bills are going to come under my CT address. we moved to CT 2 months go, and if he ask why you waited to long to update your address? we have bills from our previous NY address until July. Our driver license still with NY . i hope i can get my interview date before filing taxes because we will file under NY but what if the officer gets mad and stars saying why you are lying to the IRS you should have paid the 2 states. i am afraid ? can anyone please give me advise thanks
