i485 - Senator Repsonse
Hi guys, its been almost 140 days since my interview. Interview in Fairfax, VA 05/30/19, employment based, PD July 2018.
i have had no updates from USCIS, and it would not allow me to make an infopass appointment, or SR because I am still in 'normal processing time' even though the IO told me a decision would be made within 120 days from my interview.
Anyways, I contacted my Senator to look into my case, and he received this response.
"Thank you for your October 7, 2019, letter on behalf of your constituent, Mr. C **** **** ** D **** **** regarding his pending Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records confirm that Mr. D **** *** case is pending at this time. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner while also ensuring public safety, national security and compliance with all relevant directives. While the processing steps for most applications or petitions are completed quickly, a small percentage of cases involve unresolved issues that may result in adjudication delays.
USCIS is striving to resolve these issues as soon as possible and we expect to render a decision on Mr. D **** **** * application within the next 30-60 days.'
Has anyone else got a response like this from USCIS recently? Is it just another BS delay?
