N400 Mt Laurel interview experience
Hello All,

I was reading this forum for the last 5 months and I benefited a lot. Today I had my interview and I'd like to return the favor by sharing my experience. I hope it helps.

-From start to end 5 months.

-Civic questions; Just study 100 questions list you'll be fine. IO doesn't change the body of the question.

-We had a chance to meet with other IOs during the ceremony and they were all very nice and they are not regular employees, they know their stuff very well. They are trained to do this. I believe once your file has been represented to them, they know where to look and what to ask.

Now I'd like share a couple concerns that I had before the interview.

Traffic Tickets; I had a ticket a few years ago, wrong turn if I remember it right. My IO asked me if I have been ever arrested, the answer was no of course. Than she asked if I have ever been cited. I said no. Later on, during the interview I asked her, if traffic/parking tickets considered in this category. She asked, if I have any UNPAID tickets. The answer was no since I didn't have any. She moved on.

Forget to add one employer; Yes, I forgot the list one of my job. I brought this up during the interview and there was no problem, she added to the form.

Membership; I am a member of 501c org. IO said, she already has the info about the organization and she didn't ask any question about it.

Be familiar with your form because most probably IO will go over it line by line.

This is my story. I hope my post helps someone.

God Bless America and I wish all of you the best of luck.
