Two I-485
Hi Guys,

I am an H1-B visa holder and my company submitted an I-140 and I-485 in my behalf on 7/2/2019. I-140 was promptly approved as I applied for premium processing. On 8/7/2019 Advance Parole (I-131) and EAD (1-765) got transfer to the Nationals Benefits Center to "speed up the process" and Biometrics for I-485 and I-765 were received.

In between all of this, my boyfriend, an American Citizen, proposed and we are planning on getting married soon as he got transferred to a different city for 2 years for work and we would like to be together. I have asked several attorneys if I should submit a new family based Adjustment of Status application, but I keep getting difference answers. While some say I need to first withdraw employment based I-485 in order to submit a new case, other say I can simply submit a family based case and wait to see what comes back faster.

Also, we have never lived together (which I read online it could be red-flag) but we plan to so as soon as I get a work permit that allows me to join him in his new city.

Any advice on the matter will be greatly appreciated!
