I am currently on H1-B visa and my marriage based green card application is still in process.

Me and my wife want to travel abroad in December and are very concerned about how it will impact our GC application? Also, haven't received advanced parole and EAD yet. Is it true that even if I receive the advance parole document on time, it is still not recommended to leave the US as it can abandon my GC application.
