First time H1B stamping in Canada (from L to H1B)
Hi everyone, I have my interview coming up in Toronto. I am currently working in US on L1B visa and my wife is working on L2 visa. We both got selected for H1b lottery and we both have H1B approval notices. Now we are going to Toronto next week for H1B stamping. This is our first time H1B stamping and Canada is not our home country. Can anyone please advise is it really risky to go to Canada for first time H1B stamping instead of your home country? And even if they reject you, do you still keep your existing L1 or L2 visa so that you can come back to US?
