Just did my interview. SanFrancisco. LGBT couple.
Hi guys! Just want to update you all,
After more than 17months, PD is March 2018,
I finally did my interview today. It was very chill and easy going.
Went with our attorney. We got really lucky that our officer was very nice
and professional.
First we both sworn in, then he asked my questions from the forms we submitted.
Then he asked me the 50 questions yes or no, but more like less than 15questions since he didnt bother to ask every single one of them.
Then he took my medical. He then asked us how we met, when did we become official, what we did on the first time we met, etc.
Then asked to see the photos. He also took a couple of our later joint bank statements.
And that was pretty much it. It was very easy and quick.
He then said everything looks good, that I should be approved and to wait until the end of the day. Then told me about the 2year conditional gc.
Anyway, make sure you go over the top with your evidence because that would give a good impression to your officer. I noticed the other people around me didnt have big stuff/binder with them.
I brought a binder full of statements, lease agreement, 2 photo albums with 500 photos, another folder with our individual bank statements.
Goodluck to everyone! Now I’m just waiting for the approval notice. Hope I get it soon.
