My experience + Question/Advice needed
Hey Everyone,
Canadian on H1B here. Filing for permanent residency. PD Dec 2018. Office processing my i485 is the National Benefits Center (Lees Summit, MO).

Before I give my timeline of events below. I needed help answering this question - How long does it take to schedule the interview? I have read some people waiting over a year, but some recent posts suggest folks waited around 2 months. I'm very confused and need help figuring this out. Can anyone advise? I received notice that my interview was ready for scheduling 9/30/19 (priority date is Dec 2018).

Timeline of events:
1) Priority Date - Dec 2018
2) All applications filed (i140, 765, 485, 131, etc.) - June 2019
3) RFE - July 2019 (uscis requested experience letters on employer letterhead)
4) i140 approved - July 2019 (within 1 week of submitting RFE)
5) Biometrics appointment - August 2019
6) Case update: "Interview ready to be scheduled" - September 2019
7) i131 and i176 approved - October 2019
8) EAD Combo Card received - October 2019 (received today, as of writing this post)

Again, I'm trying to understand how much longer it may take for the actual interview to take place. Based on my PD, the info above, and the office handling my application... does anyone have any advice or thoughts on how much longer?

Thanks for your help!
