RFE for the Form I-693 without invitation for interview
Hi guys,

My wife's I-485 case was submitted on Jan 25, 2019 and we received her EAD/AP on Jul 30, 2019. There was no movement on her I-485 after her biometric and the case status after about 9 months is still "Fingerprint fee was received". However, on Oct 18, we received a RFE letter from the field office asking us to send the medical examination results (Form I-693) that we intentionally had not included in the submission to be presented to them at her interview. They did not invite her (us) to an interview for her. Her case is dependent of my EB2 I-485 case. I wonder why did not wait for the I-693 until inviting her to the interview. That was the case for me. Do you think that they may process her case without an interview. We submitted the form that was delivered yesterday but her case has not changed yet to say the RFE was received or so. The status as always is simply "fingerprint fee was received".

What do you think? Has anybody heard of someone having the I-485 concluded without an interview? Are they going to have the I-693 at the upfront anyway and invite for the interview later that we do not know when that might be?

Please write your thought we are very scared of what is happening!!!
