N400 stuck at interview was scheduled for almost 13 weeks now
Can you please share your opinions regarding my situation, I had N400 interview July the 26th passed the interview and I got the latter saying decision can not be made, however I passed the English and civic test. I called in after it hit 3 months talked to a tier one officer she didn’t give much information and then transferred to a tier 2 officer the officer said that after the interview the IO send ur case back to background check wait until it comes back from background check and also said that call back in after 4 months, but doesn’t the background check supposed to be done before interview? Not to forget I also have a name change and the field office is irving office texas. Please share ur opinion with me why is that taking so long. Thanks in advance guys.
