waiting for n400 interview pending i751 boston
-Hi guys. here goes my story .
- Married in 2013 while living apart from my husband for school .
-stock interview in 2013 and then in 2014 . then conditional green card issued.
-i graduated and got a job right out of college so i was supporting both of us , especially when my father in law passed. my husband became depressed and dropped out of medical school. then he moved to my state . since he couldn't keep a job , i suggested he does uber until he can go back to medical school ( he's the us citizen) and uber seemed to work perfectly for him
-2016 i applied for removal of condition
-Request for evidence issued twice , and although i responded, ever since case pending
-case transferred to field office in 2017.
-eventually , the extension i got expired and i went to the uscis office to get a stamp. they took the old card and my i-94. the first time , although our field office only issued 3 ticket , i was seen that day , and the officer asked me questions about my career , and we spoke technical stuffs and he stamped my passport and told me he didn't have much information
-the second time(in 2019) i got the stamp for only 6 months. once that expired , i went to the field office again , and then , the officer ( the same one , greeted me , and although everyone who came in that day was sent back home , cause they are short of staff according to him , he told me to stay and perhaps someone will see me . i was coming from work , and i fell asleep. then a lady came to wake me up , asked me if i already had an interview and where was my husband. i told her my husband was at work . she handed me my passport with a new stamp valid till April 2020 ( cause i was going to a wedding in France , but i ended up having a car accident and cancel my trip.)
Also , the officer told me on my way out next time if my job has a question , they should contact them directly , as i am a permanent resident . i was shocked cause i never received anything permanent.
-applied for n400 in June 2019
-biometrics July 2019 in a neighboring state and got a booklet to study for the civic test
-interview in November
in the interview letter , they didn't ask to come with my spouse . has anyone experienced that in Boston?
any feedback is welcome. thanks
