Miami post interview wait
Hi all,
My wife and I had our AOS interview on the 2nd Oct in Miami. We filed back in May and were relieved to have the interview come in so smoothly.
The officer was a great guy, very relaxing and we both felt the interview went so well. We weren't separated and all the evidence he asked for was provided. It lasted around 30 minutes but we were waiting for like 2 hours before it.
The Officer said he would let us know the verdict within 30 days. 30 days is nearly up but I'm actually losing my mind.
At the time of filing I also applied for an EAD/AP but none of them have come through, however I was under the impression they would just give me the GC instead of dealing with them. However, now I'm still in the same position where I can't work, drive or do anything and I'm just anxiously waiting for the verdict. There have been no updates on the website (still says my Interview was scheduled).
Has anyone got a similar experience in Miami? Did they give you an on the spot decision or did you also have to wait? If so, how long did you wait until the verdict?
I know there are a million other posts out there with the same sentiment, I've just never been out of work for so long and I feel bad for letting my wife take the full brunt of working and bringing an income.
