Tracking Interview Result
Hello All,
I have been regular and passive reader of this forum like most of us. I just wanted to update here that,
the best way to check your status after AOS interview is to create online profile in USCIS website and check the status of your case number.
I had my AOS interview yesterday, everything went well. IO asked me about my taxes mainly and she asked for tax returns of last 3 years. Apart from that everything was normal (going throught YES/NO questions from I-485, past addresses, dates, verification of continuous legal status etc.) . She was very friendly and made my experience pleasant. At the end of the interview she gave me white paper and told me "one BackGround check has to happen, and if everything is good in background check then she will approve the case".
I have been tracking my case status in normal usics case tracking link as well as in uscis' "CASE TRACKER" app. I did not see any update and still there is no new update.But I when I checked my case status inside the USCIS website (after creating profile in USCIS website), then the case status is shown as " New Card is Being Produced". "Yay..............." So, please create profile and check your status, I guess that might help to get latest status of your case.
