Interview completed - SF filer then moved to Sacramento
Hii everyome!
So we filed had our interview today at the Sacramento office. My PD is 08/2018, initially SF was my FO but we moved about 2 months ago and our case was transferred to Sacramento. Our interview was scheduled 3 days after i made the changed of address at the USCIS website.

Our interview was at 2pm, we got there around 1:20pm, after security and checked in, we waited about 15 min and got called.

The officer was super nice but also professional. It was a friendly conversation, nothing intimidated. Advice: break the ice the moment you sit down, thats what my hubby did and the rest went smoothly. She asked for our IDs and my passport, i gave her the most recent one but she wanted to see the very first one (with my visa when i first came in the US) so then i gave that to her. She went on and asked hubby for my name , dob, place of birth as well as my parents name. She then asked me for his full name, dob and place of birth. After that she went on and asked me some I-485 questions. By the way, i had noticed that my attorney answered NO to the question “Have you ever worked w/o authorization?” , so when she asked me i said Yes and that the attorney made a mistake, she said thank you for letting me know.
After that she asked questions abt us, how, when and where we met, who proposed, why there’s wasn't a wedding, if our families knew, where i worked and how long, when we moved, what we like to do together, our plans for the future, and i think that was abt it. Most of the interview was w/ questions abt us. Next, she asked what documents we had like joint bank statements or lease..We were over prepared, we had one binder full of evidences including some pictures of us,, another w civil documents only, and one photo album. She only took tax return, paystubs (because i offered), joint bank statements and credit card statements (most recent), and the lease. Thats it. I asked if she wanted to see our album she said no thats fine. She then asked to see some pictures (from my evidences binder) then she picked 3 photos to keep..one with my in laws, another one with my family and one of us in NY.
Thats it. She said ok, i will run a background check on you and make my decision. I asked once again if ahe wanted to see our album she was like no thats fine! She was super nice, walked us up front , always with a smile on her smile.
I didnt sign any white paper. Now we just have to wait.

I want to encourage you all to be organized and take as much as you can. They like to see that you take it serious. She lover the fact that im super organized. Also, trust God. He finishes everything He starts and I know He was there with us and blessed us with a nice officer.
Always be honest, do not lie! I have been living in the USA for 19 years. This is my home, i came here when I was only 14 and have never been back to my country. It was a long and hard journey. But there is a time and a season for everything, dont give up, take one day at a time and always remember, everything always works out at the end.

:) although she didnt give us the approval on the spot, i already know that God has given me victory. Ill be back to update you guys!

Have a good weekend!
