We had our interview at Federal Plaza last week (October 24th). We didn't hear the words "you are approved", but we were told that the fingerprints needed to be checked again and if all is well, the green card will come in 2/3 weeks. Our status changed to case needed to be reviewed and the wait began.
Checked my office delivery today and we both have USCIS mail, I'm assuming it's the approval notice. Checked USCIS website again and the card is in the mail and should be here by Monday!!!
The wait in NY is extremely long but it's worth it in the end. Good luck everyone
