Hi,
I just wanted to share my experience to maybe help others in their process.
MARCH 1st 2019 : receipt notice for I 485 and I 130
BIOMETRICS APT: APRIL 15th
Then total silence till August 28th : INTERVIEW SCHEDULED
OCTOBER 17th 2019 : INTERVIEW COMPLETED. Stressful yes but officer was very nice and made us feel very comfortable.I did bring an updated medical exam as I knew the original one had expired and I didn’t want to take any chances of delay. Turned out it was indeed extremely important and the first thing he asked ! He then went through many basic questions first to my husband and then to me. If it’s true love there is absolutely no reason to stress because they were all very obvious questions for a married couple. Then for the rest you have to be honest that’s all (have you ever had a visa denied, have you ever overstayed your visa etc ... )
Next day October 18th online update : INTERVIEW WAS COMPLETED AND YOUR CASE MUST BE REVIEWED.
November 2nd 2019 : mail notice of permanent status approval for both i485 and i130 forms, even though online status still shows under review !
