EAD approved
Hi folks,

I had called USCIS today and they told me that my EAD was approved and I should be receiving the approval notice shortly. They also said my card should go in production in next couple of days and hopefully should receive it by next week. However, my online status still shows the same as before and it has not changed. It looks like their online system is not updating correctly. If you are in a situation similar to me, give them a call to see if there is an update. However, I am not counting my chickens before they hatch as they sometimes take a long time to deliver. Here is my timeline:

i-485 application: EB1-B India, RD March 19 2018
i-485 interview: March 11, 2019
RD of i-765 renewal: March 25, 2019
First SR raise: September 7, 2019
Second SR raised: October 7, 2019
Expedite requested: October 15, 2019, USCIS replied saying there is a delay in processing your case
Contacted Senator office: October 17, 2019
Senator's office contacted USCIS: October 25, 2019
Contacted Ombudsman: October 31, 2019
Called USCIS every week and talked to T2 and T1 officers
EAD approved (apparently): November 1, 2019
Contacted congressman's office: November 4, 2019
Got to know of the approval over phone with USCIS: November 4, 2019
Online status not changed yet.

Now waiting for the card. Hopefully, they ship it soon. Fingers crossed.
