AOS Interview Experience
Hello everyone,
We had our AOS interview on 11/04/2019 8am. It was decent. My wife was so stressed out that she forgot my birthday. She got the year and month right though. I hope that did not affect the IO's decision. The questions went on for about 20 mins, then the IO said "this concludes the initial interview, and I will be submitting a RFAE via mail". Is that bad?
Still two things that didn't make sense to me:
We had 2 interviews. One for the I-130 and one for the I-485.
The I-130 she asked both of us questions about our marriage.
The I-485 she only asked me questions directly taken from the actual paper application.
Is this normal? I'm just curious if this is how things normally get done in Washington Field Office.
