Chicago Interview
Hi everyone, this forum has helped me so so much, so I just want to share our interview experience.

Our interview was scheduled for today at 10:45am. We decided to go early, and were through security at 9:55am. We went upstairs to the second floor and got a number, waited till about 10:35 to be called in. A young lady about our age (25) came out to greet us, I was relieved as soon as I saw her because we wanted to get someone young and close to our age. She took us to the back, swore us in, took my picture and fingerprints and then started asking me some questions:

What is your full name?
What is your date of birth?
Social security number?
Parents names?
What is your husbands name and dob?
What is your address?
Do you have any children?
How many times have you been married?

Then she asked me some yes/no questions from I-485. After that she said she hasn’t changed anything to my application and she needs me to sign it. After that she turned to my husband and asked him some questions:

Your name?
Dob?
Social security number?
Address?
Parents names?

Then after that she asked us how we met? When did we first meet in person and where? Where did I live at the time? When did we start dating? When did we get engaged? When did we get married? Who was at the ceremony and whether we had a religious wedding also?

After that she asked if we wanted to add anything to our application and we gave her a lot of supporting papers, basically everything we had that we didn’t submit at the time. She looked at out veterinary invoices and asked what kind of dog we had and we said a beagle and she said “Awwww so cute”, so we kinda talked about that for a second. The whole time it was very relaxed and calm in the room. After we gave her the stuff she told us she is going to give us our interview receipt so basically the white paper. We didn’t even look at it and she also said she would be able to close our case in the next two weeks. After that we packed up our stuff, she said she would walk us out. She also commented that we are so prepared she said “I see you guys even brought a big photo album” which I totally forgot about, so I asked if she wanted to look at it? She said no, there is already so much stuff with our application. So then she walked us out and we were done in 10-15 minutes.

Now we wait.... but overall we are pleased with our experience. Let me know if you have any questions? I’m glad to answer what I can :)
