Switching to NVC
Hello ,
I am LPR spouse. I arrived USA at Dec 2016, applied i130 at Feb 2107 and my priority current at March 2018 then adjust of status by applying i 485 . Then I130 approved at January 2019 and i got my interview at July 2019 . in that case i had to withdraw my i 485 on that interview day cuz i am out of status which is not eligible for adjustment of status. Somebody told me i have to apply I601a and get my green card through NVC and consular processing.
I forgot to mention when i130 approved i was notify to NVC that i was in Pending I485 . they didn`t send me any case number nor welcome letter .
My question is applying I601a and go with NVC and get my green card interview at my home county is a good idea ?
and then i haven`t received anything form NVC . can i ask NVC to i can`t adjust of status and i need to process with NVC ? is it possible to bring it back my case ?
