I’ve been ‘living’ in this forum for 2,5 years. I’ve never felt that depressed and desperate before. I’m asking you for any advice🙏🏼
Here is my timeline:
PD August 2017
RFE March 2018 (updated joint taxes)
RFE was sent the same month
Interview November 2018 (smooth and quick)
Nothing since then.
We sent 7 SRs, we called a dozen times, we had chats with Emma a few times. And yes, we had a lawyer who couldn’t help the processing time anyhow. The info pass option is no longer available in Miami. The last thing my husband and I did was the application we sent to the ombudsman a week ago. We attached all the copies, records and so on. We received a confirmation from the ombudsman’s office. That was it. What’s coming next? What to expect? How long does it take to get any response from the ombudsman? How can we help the process? I’ve got a renewed EAD (had to expedite through Emma though) but my life is still on hold. I’ve already lost 3 amazing job offers (they required GC), I’m afraid to travel abroad, I haven’t seen my family for 6 years! I’ve been in a terrible stress all this time..
We would appreciate every single advice!
