Married to LPR, adjusting status from F1
Hello All,

I am a current AOS applicant (Married to LPR, adjusting status from F1).
PD in July, 2019.

My student visa is expiring in December this year and my last update from USCIS is "fingerprint review completed".

My question is that can I stay in US post my visa expires until I get a decision from USICS or do I need to leave the country once my visa expires in December?
All I know is that, if I travel my application will be abandoned and If I overstay I am not sure of the consequences.

Can AOS pending applicants stay in the US legally while their non-immigrant visa has expired before they get an interview date?

Anyone with a similar experience?? any advice is appreciated.
