I just Logged into my hubby's USCIS account today and found it had the following update: Transferred And Office Case New Has Jurisdiction On November 13th 2019, your Form i130, petition for alien relative Src YYYY YYYY XX, Number Receipt was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by December 13, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e- request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. I'm not sure what to make of this update? I'm assuming they do this to help increase the efficiency of the workload/processing? Has anyone else experienced this & can some shed some light on what the next steps normally are following a status change like this? Thanks in advance!
