I had my interview today, adjustment of status marriage same sex based.
Me and my wife it was very concern once everyone was saying that Lawrence
It’s a kind of hard to get approved at spot.
Interview scheduled 8:15 am, they called us around 9am, I got a interpreter
Just in case I’m not feeling 100% about the English. First all the officer called
Both of us, when she saw that unhas interpreter asked me to wait, then my lawyer said That I could understand and speak but not was 100% confident about English, the officer came back and asked me to join the interview, also she was very nice and said if I don’t understand the question, please ask to repeat.
Getting at her office she said that she was very happy because the lawyer did a really good job and made her job easier, and she said if you make my day easy I don’t have reason to make yours hard. Good sign, once the application is 100% right no worries.
Starting the interview it was just a really nice conversation, she made us very comfortable, and said that she saw our wedding pictures and it was beautiful... .
Asked about our honeymoon picture, where do we went.
Asked my wife name and date birth, fathers name, the same to me.
And yes or no questions to me like 5 . The lawyer said that she had more documents to add the officer said no, I don’t need anything you’re already did a good job I’m satisfied with you guys already submit. And said to us you’re all set we just gonna have a nice conversation now. We just chatting about what we like to watch and it was a nice chatting in the end she said in two weeks or so you gonna get your card at the mail. After 20 minutes we’re still at the parking lot getting the car I’m checked the app and *** NEW CARD HAS BEING PRODUCED **
So happy and relax after almost 6 months very stressful.
All done.
Sometimes we want to same some money or we just don’t have, but get everything approved and no stress or hard time, so far we just have to bring our personal documents, because our case already had everything.
My lawyer worth it every penny to get my life in peace .
