Full-Term Drivers Licence approved for 5 years with EAD
Hi All,
I have been a silent reader till now.
However, I might need your inputs and thoughts about something strange which happened to me.
I am married to a US Citizen.

I went to Texas DPS to renew my drivers licence on september 19 2019 along with my EAD which expires on October 20 2019 and i765 which says I applied for my EAD extension and grants me an automatic 180 days extension.

The lady at the drivers license office took my EAD and i765 and scanned them. She also entered some information from those documents into her computer.

I was expecting that I will get a new DL which will be valid until my 180 day extension period. However to my surprise, I got my new DL valid for 5 years and it doesn't say "Limited Term" on the top.

Limited Term DL's are given to non citizens and people without green cards. I am not sure how come I received a licence without the "Limited Term" clause.

Upon a little bit of research, I found out that the DPS uses a syatem called SAVE to verify immigration status and based on the responses provided by SAVE syatem, the DPS representative makes a decision if an individual is eligible for the DL or not.
But, even after looking so much, I couldn't understand why I got a Full-Term DL with even having my green card.
Does that mean that the SAVE system verified my immigration status as LPR (Legal Permanent Resident) or does it look like a mistake performed by the lady who issued my licence?

Did anyone face a situation like this?

I still did not get my GC in hand. Waiting for December 3rd to follow up since it will mark 2 years of my marriage.
