Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello guys ,

I just received an RFE from USCIS for my I-864 affidavit of support form.

I believe we did not file it correctly the first time. My wife is my petitioner but we seeked another sponsor since my wife does not meet the income requirement. Now they want us to re submit the 1-864 for my wife even tho she doesn’t meet the income requirement and re submit the I-864 for my third party sponsor.

Does my wife need to submit the form as the petitioner and list her income even tho she doesn’t qualify to sponsor me.

Does my sponsor lists himself as a joint sponsor in that case? He is the only sponsor

So to avoid conclusion my wife would file the form and select I am the petitioner and my sponsor would file and select I’m the only joint sponsor

Please help
