Case must be review after my interview in Kendall Florida
Hi everyone,

I’d like to ask if anyone has a similar situation/experience and if there’s any way to get some visibility on the timeline to get my Green Card approved. Please help by sharing your experiences.

My interview was on October 23, 2019, at the Kendall, FL office. We arrived 15 min earlier, and we waited for 1 hour. The interview was smooth and easy; we had all the paperwork and support to show our case. The interview lasted less than 30 min, and the officer told us that since he was new to that particular office, the file needed to be review by his supervisor. This happened three weeks ago, and I still have no answer.

I’m concerned because of 2 reasons:
1) The lawyer and close friends said that they got their Green Card in two weeks
2) I’m traveling internationally for my honeymoon in one month. Although I have the Advance Parole, I was hoping not to use it because I want to avoid any risks.

I believe our case is straightforward, well documented, and supported — no background issues.

Has anyone here went to the interview in Kendall, Florida, and went to through the same situation? Or anyone with suggestions on what to do to have visibility on the process?

Thank you!
