Hope you regain hope after reading my experience
On Dec 21 uscis received my package
. After a month I received a letter stated that the post office had returned a mail that uscis sent me which delayed the process of my biometric appointment.
. On April I had my biometric done.
. In May- After a whole five months I received an RFE regarding the i 864 form, they were unable to process my case because they found some deficiencies about my joint sponsor.
.June- I responded to the RFE and expecting to get a positive answer.
August 9- Unfortunately I received a second RFE, they needed the most recent year of tax return and a deadline to a month otherwise my case will get denied. So I had to changed the joint sponsor.
.Sept 19 great news. The I 765 (EAD) was approved and get the EAD card a week later.
Next day. I 485 updated to... Case is being schedule for interview.
Oct 5- updated to case is ready for interview, and received a mail about my interview for Nov 7
Nov 7. My wife and I attended the interview. In Newark NJ. The officer was nice!
But handed me a letter at the end of the interview saying that my case is held for review. I was devastated so was my wife.
Nov 9- case updated to Interview was completed and must be reviewed. That had me going insane by not knowing of how long this will take.
Bingo!! Nov 15- case updated to New card is being produced.
Now I’m just waiting patiently for the actual Green Card and praying for people that are going through the same situation as me because I know it is frustrating and stressful. Keep praying Jehovah have faith. Matthew 7:7
