Do you think I provided enough evidence?
I recently went for my marriage-based green card interview. We did not get an approval or denial on the spot. The immigration officer just handed us two white sheets and scorted us out. He looked upbeat throughout the interview but was very serious. Even though he asked us a lot of questions (more than 40 I would say), he did not separate us. We only missed one question because my husband could not remember my uncle's name from one of the pictures. I wonder if the reason why we were not approved on the spot was lack of documentation to prove bonafide marriage.

With the original package I submitted photos of us, copies of mail pieces to the same address, copies of IDs with the same address and bank statements from our joint account.

During the interview, we submitted more photos of us in different scenes (wedding, with relatives, in social events -the officer took a couple of these, more recent bank statements, jointly filed tax returns, proof of joint health insurance, proof of one naming the other beneficiary for their life insurance and 401k, proof of joint gym membership and receipts for wedding expenses. He asked if we had a lease but we said no because my husband owns the house we live in.

This is a first marriage for both of us and we were madly in love when we got married and still are so it feels weird to have immigration questioning us like this but we understand it's part of the system.

Is it normal for people to get the "interview was completed and case must be reviewed" status after interview nowadays? Do you guys think I submitted enough evidence?
