Can Pending biometrics cause delay in EAD/ EAD expedite Request
Hi Folks,
I have filed for L2 extension & EAD concurrently on 24th Sept. My spouse's L1 got approved on Oct 2nd . Here is my timeline after that:
16th Oct : BIO done.
31st Oct : Filed for L2 EAD expedite request @ California center.
4th Nov : USCIS replied & asked for supporting docs
5th Nov : Submitted docs via any EMAIL
Since then there isn't any traction on the EAD expedite request not even acknowledgment on the document received. I already checked with tier 2 officer & he suggested me to wait for 30 days.
I have noticed that ppl filed expedite request after me got some response from USCIS so wondering why there is a delay in my case. Could this be related to BIO ? or there is no relation in my EAD & L2 status? Until USCIS complete my BIO check will they hold of any processing in EAD ?
