Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! It gives me hope to see other people's cases being completed while waiting for my EAD.
I just wanted to share with you how my process is going. I got married with a US citizen in June. I filed July 8th and my case is in NBC. I got an RFE on Sept 6th. What was very annoying was that I am 110% sure that the piece of evidence they asked for (marriage certificate) was already among the papers in my original filing. Either they must have somehow lost it or they just did not see it among all the other papers. I called USCIS to explain this but they just told to send a new copy.
Well, I sent a new one, although it was clearly not my fault and because of it my case was on hold for two weeks. Not a significant amount of time in the grand scheme of things, but still super annoying.
My biometrics review was completed on Oct 8th (Minnesota) and case was ready to be scheduled for interview on Oct 17th. Since then, nothing.
Almost five months and counting, trying to stay positive and avoid cabin fever...
Does anyone else from Minnesota have experiences to share?
