San Fernando Valley (Chatsworth), CA AOS timeline
I have been reading this forum a lot and wanted to share my experience. We are a same sex couple and I was on H1-B work visa when we filed our Adjustment of status. Some of the experiences posted here were really helpful, so I wanted to post mine. All in all it took about 6.5 months, however the USCIS case processing times in San Fernando field office is over 13 months.

October 9, 2019 - EAD & Advanced parole (765 and 131) were approved
October 15, 2019 - Interview Was Scheduled
Oct 18, 2019 - Interview notice received. Interview on 11/20/19
Nov 20, 2019 - Interview at San Fernando (Chatsworth) USCIS field office.
We had Mortgage statements, Bank statements for 6 months and 1 very old statement from last year, Auto insurance, Homeowners insurance, family pictures, car registration cards etc. The officer took all the documents reviewed them and asked my husband the following questions:
- Where do I work
- Whats my phone number
- How did we meet and the timeline
- When did he propose to me
- Where did we get married
- How many guests attended the wedding
- what did we serve in the wedding reception
- did he meet my family

The office asked me the following questions
- All general inadmissibility questions
- Whats my current title
- Where do I work
- When and how many times did I enter the country and on what Visa
- When did we buy the house

After the interview she said, she has every thing she needs and she needs to review the documents once again, before she can approve. I got a text later that day a new card has been ordered

November 20, 2019 - New Card Is Being Produced
November 27, 2019 - Card delivered to mailbox :)
